Im a freelance computer repair man and sound engineer for films, radio, games, software ect. Ive been trying and failing to keep my accounts over the last few years!
The reason i have Tech servies job 1, 2 ,3 ect is because I get quite a few jobs a month and would like to have them added up for me! Im guessing if i made a new non reccuring income for a job it would stay there forever? If im using this long term dont want a job from three years ago cluttering stuff up

.
I use the comments box to add detialed info on the jobs ive done.
Hello David,
Using a different category for every job, is not the way we planned Cashculator to be used. You are correct about new non recurring income for a job that would stay forever in Cashculator table. This way, in 3 years from now, your table will be cluttered will hundreds of rows - one for each job.
Instead, what I would do is create 3 recurring categories: Tech Services, Sound services and Tempring.
For each, I would set a plan, that would be your estimation of total monthly income from these activities - that will allow Cashculator to do forecasting to let you know how will you bank account look 3 years from now

For each job, when you will receive payment, you should enter it as actual to the relevant category while using a transaction comment with job name. This way, you will be able later to understand that number 120 that appears in Juny Tech services cell is actually consists of 20 (Job1) + 20 (Job2) + 55 (Job 3) + 25 (Job 4).
On the flip side, this way you will have only one comments box for a cell, so you will have to enter details for all jobs in one place.
I hope that is clear - let me know if you have questions.
P.S. Regarding iPhone client - we're working on it and it will hopefully be released next year.
Best,
Kosta
